•             Can I view and use the site if I am not studying at St Brendans Sixth Form College?

Yes, anyone can access and browse the college shop, however to purchase an item you need to register and create an account.

•             How do I register?

You can register by clicking on the Login/Register button on the St Brendans Sixth Form College Store webpage. You will need a valid email address and will be prompted to create your own password.

•             How do I access my account if I have forgotten my password?

You can reset your password from the login screen by clicking “forgotten password”, this will send instructions of how to reset your password to the accounts registered email.

•             How do I purchase an item?

You can visit the store using a computer with internet access at any time. To purchase an item you will need to add the item to your basket and then checkout using a valid method of payment for example a credit or debit card. You can purchase multiple items by adding them to your basket.

You will automatically receive an email to the registered email address with proof of purchase.

•             Is there any limitations to what I can buy from the store?

Some purchases will have limitations due to stock/place availability, in these cases the store will be set up accordingly.

•             Is the College Store site secure?

The college store has an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificate which ensures that all personal data and payment information are sent securely using encryption. By clicking the padlock you can view the sites certificate and validity. As a college we are also PCI DSS Compliant (The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) demonstrating that St Brendan’s Sixth Form College has met the requirements designed to reduce card payment fraud therefore protecting ourselves and our students/parents/carers.

•             Are my card details secure?

All payment details which are entered through the payment gateway on the store are encrypted and therefore are secure. The web address where you enter your card details should start with https and have a padlock image in front of the web address, both these added checks ensures your data is secure.
