Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to purchasing products on the St Brendan’s Sixth Form College Online Store. By using this site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

St Brendan’s Sixth Form College reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions the following expressions shall have the following meaning:

“College” means St Brendan’s Sixth Form College, Broomhill Road, Brislington,    Bristol BS4 5RQ

“Products” mean items available for purchase from our online store

“Order” means the purchase of products from our online store

“You” and “Your” means the person or legal entity using the online store and  placing an order on the online store

College’s Intellectual Property Rights

All content published in the online store is the property of the College and the site creator; this includes pictures, designs, logos, photographs, written text and other materials associated with the products purchased by you. The College’s intellectual property rights are protected by law. Unauthorised use of such content is prohibited.

Sale of Products

These terms and conditions apply to all the products that are displayed for sale from our online College store at the time you access the store. All information, descriptions, or images that we provide is a fair representation of the product. You agree to purchase the products from our store at your own risk. 

We reserve the right to modify, reject or cancel your order if it becomes necessary, if we cancel your order and have already processed your payment, we will give you a refund equal to the amount you paid. You agree that it is your responsibility to verify receipt of any refunds. 

Online Payments for Goods and Services

The price for the product will be the price as displayed on the online store.

Payments can be made using most UK debit or credit cards. The price of a product and therefore the payment must be made in pounds sterling (£) otherwise your Order will not be accepted.

All personal data and payment details, which are entered through the Site, are encrypted to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Ownership of the goods will only pass to you when you receive an email from the College confirming receipt of all sums due in respect of the product.

Communication with the College

When you visit the online store and purchase a product, you are communicating with the College. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from the College electronically. The College may communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on the online store.

Cancellation and Refunds

You have the right to cancel an Order within 7 days:

If you wish to cancel an Order you must inform the College by email.

If you are cancelling an Order for goods, after you have received them, then the goods must be returned immediately to the College in the same condition, including the original packaging, in which you collected them and at your own cost.

Refunds will be processed to the debit/credit card used for the original transaction.

Payments for any trips and visits will only be refunded if this is within the agreed cancellation period, however there will be no refund for any trip deposits. Information regarding trip payments will be clearly stated on the trip/visit letter. 

Force Majeure

The College reserves the right to defer the date of delivery of a product purchased on the online store or to cancel the delivery of services or supply of goods in the case of any circumstances which are beyond its reasonable control and which prevents or hinders the delivery of the goods or services.
